First posting of 2010!

Well so much for weekly postings... suffice to say monthly will be the thing for me :)

Alot has happened since the start of school.

Discovered Olivia has a mild-moderate hearing loss, on Feb. 3rd going for a 2nd hearing test and seeing the ENT for further information and to see how to proceed for school. She talks loudly alot and often asks to repeat but I really thought it had more to do with her receptive language delays... guess its a mix of the two things.

Ricky's GERD is not getting better with meds, so we are doing the mds for 3 more months and in April will see another specialist to see if he needs surgery... to put a feeding tube in.. but I am hoping that won't be the case!!

Ricky is now going to a weekly (10 wk session) at Mckay for kids with dyspraxia, to help him be more independant and learn to know when to ask for help, etc, and work on his fine motor delays as well as socialization skills.

Danny...well his 2nd report comes in Feb. 5th. I hope its alot better than his first term, but not expecting any miracles :(

As for me, well I'm kinda over whelmed with things lately, school stuff going on too (other kids bullying my own... Olivia and Ricky....and other things), recovering from a nasty sinus infeciton for which antibiotics have helped. I am just really anxious for Wednesday's ENT and hearing test to see where I am heading with Olivia... the one kid I thought was going to have no issues :(

Danny had his flu shot (we all had our HINI shot), but I am still on the fence about the rest of us having the shot. Probably will get Ricky done, and me too, but Olivia seems to be the healthy one so I may spare her the shot.. but still undecided.....

Sorry this is sorta all over the board... just thought i'd update while I thought of it :)
