School has started and the fun has begun.......

Well so much for weekly blogging!! LOL... well I will **try** for monthly at least!! :)

Ok well summer came and went, and must admit it was a overall lousy summer....but anyway.

End of August Danny and I went to NASCAR, ended really good with Carl Edwards winning, he is really a fan-appreciative guy and it was nice to see it. Weather was horrible though, but its only once a year so whatever... LOL...

School started immediately after NASCAR.

Danny is in his 3rd out of 5 years of high school now (grade 9)... wow time flies! So far so good, well as good as can be expected. He is doing at least some of his assigments from what I know of.

Olivia is in 2nd grade in elementary school. She is liking it and seems to be doing ok but has some issues with french and reading in both languages. I have my first parent-teacher interviews on Thursday so we shall see :)

Olivia is into weekly swimming lessons, as is Ricky, and this week will be starting Brownies... well going to a trial class and if all goes well will go weekly.

Ricky is LOVING school and kindergarten!! Though he has alot of struggles and issues, which I knew would crop up. It will be a uphill battle with school and Ricky, but so far they have a good plan of action and have the help in place. Plus he still has regular occupational therapy outside of school.... and starting monthly speach therapy as well.

As for me... well I am volunteering and enjoying that, and lookign for part time/on-call babysitting jobs within the school hours and still allowing me to pick up Ricky from school at lunch as he needs that time to rest. So far I think I may have a on-call job but we shall see. In the meantime volunteering is keeping me busy and I get my "social life" somewhat while doing it... some adult time :)

That is all for now... will hopefully do another posting before Christmas (ha ha ha.... oops... ho ho ho!! )
